Extended Summary

Tasha’s decided this is D-day to stop the development. Josie hands her the final settlement cheque for the caravan park and the two of them have an argument. Josie says Tasha needs to learn that life is about compromise. She storms out. Alf and Morag are going to try and take the legal route to stopping the resort – lobbying the council. They’re totally unsuccessful. Alf’s frustrated. Morag realizes she’s going to have to work harder to discredit Josie and Brett.

Ric and Cassie are doing their punishment for lying to Sally – cleaning the house. Ric thinks it’s unfair he’s being punished for Cassie’s wrongdoing. The two of them end up in a huge water fight, which leads to Cassie kissing Ric. Ric kisses her right back. They decide they’re ‘together’ now. Flynn and Sally are surprised. As long as the two are honest with them and stick to the ground-rules, things will be fine.

Sally goes to drop off a book at Diesel’s place, but he doesn’t live at the address he gave her. He runs into Sally who wants to know why he gave her the wrong address. Diesel covers and says he got mixed up with a house he lived at in the city. Sally looks at him curiously. He assures her he’s okay. His attraction to her is growing stronger and stronger.

Tasha wonders if her money from the caravan park sale can be used to stop the resort. Martha thinks flower power is the way to go. But not the soft stuff… Something a little more forceful. She takes Robbie and Tasha to the caravan park and chains them to the caravans. The workers can’t do anything. Alf tries to talk sense into Martha but she won’t listen. Josie decides it’s time to call the police. McGrath turns up and tries to reason with Martha, but it’s no use so he gets out some bolt-cutters and cuts them all free. Martha kicks him in the shins and he arrests her for assault. Alf shakes his head – that’s all they need! Luckily, Morag manages to sweet talk McGrath into dropping any charges.

Morag’s personal investigator has turned up a lead on Josie’s 1989 secret. Morag goes to visit Jim Wallace who is an ex-cop living in a caravan park about 3 hours away. He eventually agrees to tell Morag the whole story. He wonders how the people of Summer Bay would feel knowing they’re living with a murderess. Morag is stunned.
