Irene managed to make it home through the storm and was not happy to find Noah sleeping on the couch. Hayley explained that he was there because he saved her from falling over a cliff and that it was too dangerous for him to go home. He decided that he should leave then and that if Irene could get through the storm then so could he!
The rescuers found Duncan, then Jade and then Ailsa. Ailsa was whispering, "Shauna, Shauna". No one knew that Shauna was there so they searched frantically for her. When they finally found Shauna, a wall collapsed on Joel and smashed his leg. Gavin's leg to caught in a hole and as they pulled Shauna out, a telephone pole fell on the house and then the house burst into flames with Gavin inside.

Kirsty was upset that she almost lost her twin sister but her Mum said that she should be glad because if it wasn't for her link with Jade, they would never had found them trapped in the house.

Later in the hospital, Gypsy was shattered by Joel's accident but Will was there to console her. Joel pulled out of the operation but they are unsure as to whether he will walk again or not. Ailsa, Duncan and Jade are fine and so is Shauna. Shauna confronted Alf and Ailsa about why Gavin had not been to see her. Alf told her that the house collapsed after they got her out and that Gavin didn't make it.
