Sally is still shaken by the sudden return of memories of the night of her
attack. She is
overwhelmed and still frustrated she can’t recall who attacked her. Brad is
offering her
comfort and support when Ric, Alf and Rocco arrive home to discover the latest
development. All the while, Rocco listens on with growing fear – is he about to
get
caught?
Later, Sally apologises to Rocco for the drama on his first night in the
house. She
mentions how glad they are to have him in the family now. But inside, Rocco is
being
eaten up by guilt. Once alone, he breaks down in sobs. The next morning, Rocco
visits
Johnny in prison. Johnny warns him it’s only a matter of time before Sally
remembers
and therefore, Rocco needs get rid of her once and for all.
Rocco returns home, weighed down with the pressure of Johnny’s threat.
Feeling he
has no choice, he moves in to the kitchen to where Sally is alone, preparing
lunch. Sally
misreads his agitation and tries to talk to him but then he eyes the kitchen
knife on the
bench – will he go through with it? Suddenly, Rocco is snapped out of his mind
set and
races off, apologising. Sally is left completely bemused.
Beth stares thoughtfully at a photo of her family on the mantelpiece. Matilda
and Kit
return home and Beth questions what family outing they will plan this year for
Matilda’s
birthday. Matilda breaks the news she wants to be with Ric and Kit overhears
Beth
comment on how she is no longer needed. Kit later questions her on it and Beth
reveals
she spent her whole life looking after her family and all the while, she has
missed out
doing the things in life that she always wanted to do. Kit urges Beth to tell
Tony how
she feels.

Tony is taken aback when Beth confides she is in need of some soul searching
and
breaks the news she has decided to go to Europe for a holiday. Tony is
supportive but
picking up on his concern, Beth reassures him their relationship is as strong as
ever –
she simply needs to do this for herself.

Meanwhile, Ric and Matilda have returned from the house to find Sally in a
state of
concern. She reveals Rocco packed his bags and walked out. Matilda questions
what
he was saying before he left and Sally mentions he just kept saying saying
‘sorry’.
Suddenly, Sally stops dead in her tracks as the memories of the night of her
attack
come flooding back. Filled with shock, Sally reveals it was Rocco who stabbed
her!

Brad returns home to find Ric and Matilda comforting Sally and is shocked by
what has
just transpired. Ric’s blood is boiling and he races out the door with revenge
foremost
on his mind. Matilda gives chase but nothing she can do, stops Ric from charging
towards Rocco when he finally tracks him down. Filled with anger and hatred, Ric
grabs
Rocco and shoves him hard. Rocco manages to break free and escape in the car he
has just broken in to. Matilda watches on in horror as Ric pounds on the windows
screaming that he is going to kill him! This nightmare is far from over!
