Cam is forthright in introducing himself to Sally and Brad as Martha’s
boyfriend. Cam
turns on the charm but Sally has her reservations. Later, Sally tells Brad that
she’s
worried that Martha’s moving into a relationship too soon after what happened
with Ash
but she stops herself before saying too much. When Brad questions her, Sally
finally
tells him about Martha’s abortion.
Brad later offers Martha an expression of concern but when he goes too far
she
questions him and he lets slip that he knows about the abortion. This leads to
an
argument between Sally and Martha, how could Sally have betrayed her trust like
that?
Martha heads back to the Club and begins drinking heavily. In no time, she’s up
on the
bar dancing around. Cam watches on – he has Martha right where he wants her.
Tony is concerned by Lucas’ mood since his break-up with Belle. Keen to get him
out
of the house, Tony calls on Ric’s help. Ric takes Lucas to the Diner where they
find
Cassie and Matilda discussing ways to get funding for the help-line. Colleen
suggests
they make a calendar.
After further discussion they decide on a calendar
featuring nude
males – much to Colleen’s horror. Ric, Lucas and a few of the other local lads
get
roped in as models.
Cassie gets on the phone to find a photographer- the only one that will do it
for free
can only do it one hour from now. Everyone frantically prepares for the shoot.
Then as
time is running out, the photographer calls and explains he can’t make it after
all. Ric
reminds Cassie that Belle has a great camera – maybe she can do it. Lucas
assures
them everything will be alright and despite everyone’s concern they call Belle.
Belle
hesitates, not wanting to go near Lucas and upset him, but Drew is quick to say
yes on
her behalf.
The calendar shoot kicks off – but the tension between Lucas and Belle is
evident. He
can no longer stand watching Belle and Drew as they cosy up together. An
argument
ensues and Drew steps in to defend Belle. Lucas loses it and punches Drew,
sending
the camera smashing to the ground. Clearly, Lucas is not dealing with things as
well as
he’d have everyone believe.
