Amanda races into the house looking for Kelli, panicking
and desperate that Ethan is about to blow her world
out of the water. Kelli recoils in shock at the news
that Ethan is still ‘alive’ and secretly fears her plan
may about to be revealed. Kelli quietly goes into damage
control and sets about putting a new plan in to action.
Ethan later arrives on Amanda’s doorstep demanding
a large sum of cash – or else he will reveal the incriminating
photos of him and Amanda in bed together. Once he disappears,
Kelli insists they break into his motel room and steal
the photos and camera. Amanda thinks she’s crazy but
is prepared to do anything.
They head to the motel and Amanda is more than relieved
as she rummages through Ethan’s belongings and finds
the evidence. She and Kelli take to it with a match
but as they watch it go up in flames, Ethan storms into
the room. Ethan ‘realises’ all his blackmailing power
is gone and Amanda is convinced she has won the battle.
Little does she know, behind her back, Kelli and Ethan
share a devious smile – their evil plan is back on track.
James and Kit are having a romantic dinner when Kim
arrives and reminds Kit that they were going to look
for a midwife on the internet. Kim sees that he is imposing
and leaves but is happy Kit has found herself such a
nice guy. Later, James notices Kit rubbing her temples
– she’s suffering from a bad headache. James convinces
Kit to the hospital and have things checked out. Later,
Rachel arrives home and informs Kim of Kit’s visit to
the hospital. Kim wonders why he wasn’t called but Rachel
reassures him everything is okay. Kim tells Rachel that
he’s feeling increasingly left out when it comes to
his own baby.
James is back at the hospital working a shift but
is now looking much more tired. Nurse Julie hands him
some medicine and asks him if he is okay to administer
it. James attempts to inject medication into a patient
but is stopped by Rachel, who informs him that patient
has already had their dose for the day. Rachel and Julie
tell him his actions could have caused the patient to
die. James convinces them not to tell the hospital board
– he is adamant it won’t happen again. Rachel and Julie
begin to doubt his ability to cope with the stress of
the job but agree to keep the incident quiet. James
gets home, shaken by the events of the shift. He pulls
out his dope and is about begins to roll a joint to
calm his nerves. But as he does so, Kit arrives home
and catches him in the act. Busted!
