Walter Bertram
Strengths
Walter is always fair and gives pupils a second chance. He has allowed Bobby Simpson to return to school even when other teachers had given up on her. He is liked and respected by his pupils and often gets involved in extra curricular activities. Walter has played a key part in the anzac day memorial.
Points to improve
Walter is prone to psychotic tendencies, he has a habit of sending threatening notes and burning down village halls. It is suggested that Walter be admitted to a mental institution to address his problems.
Overall
Walter was a good headmaster, fair and well liked but after having suffered a blow to the head he developed a split personality and terrorised the Bay as the 'nutter'. Walter gains dispensation for having a mental illness and gains extra points for being the pupil's choice of headmaster over Donald Fisher.
Memorable Moment
Being exposed as the Summer Bay Nutter and meeting rock legend John Farnham.
