In 2001 Fisher, Hayley, Irene, Will and Nick took a trip to London for the UK launch of Fisher & Hayley's book 'A Letter to Byron.' The trip turned out to be quite a beneficial one for Fisher as he ended up bumping into his wife Marilyn and was finally able to bring closure to his failed marriage.
During their time in London the gang manage to get around quite a few places:
Will takes time out to think about Gypsy and the baby at Trafalgar Square.
Fisher takes the group on the Original London Sightseeing Tour.
Nick takes himself off and ends up at the Queen's Lifeguard at Horseguard's Arch, Whitehall. He then moves onto Covent Garden and after getting lost, eventually ends up at the London Eye.
Hayley gets quite quite friendly with hotel worker Robbie and he takes her on a tour of London. After leaving Covent Garden they walk alongside County Hall to the London Eye, following that they end up at St Paul's Cathedral. The following morning they walk along the Victoria Embankment to Westminster Bridge where they share a kiss. Later on in the day he takes her back to the Tate Modern and they finally talk about Summer Bay whilst walking along Piccadilly Circus.
Fisher goes to meet Marilyn in a park - this would most likely be Regent's Park but it is impossible to be sure of where it is.
Meanwhile Irene and Nick go to visit Buckingham Palace. Irene notes that the Union Jack is flying and believes the Queen must be at home - any Brit can tell you that when the Queen is in residence the Royal Standard flies, not the Union Jack. |
