On Location > St James' Church (1988-2006)

Up until 2006, St James' Anglican Church in Pitt Town was used as Summer Bay's very own church of the same name, for any of its church weddings or funerals.

It was seen in the early years as the location for Frank's weddings to both Bobby and Roo. In the 90's it was memorably seen as the location of Shane & Angel's wedding, as well as Michael's funeral. In more recent times it was used for Flynn's funeral before its final screen appearance at Jack & Martha's wedding.

Since then the church has moved locations to nearby Wilberforce, just across the Hawkesbury River.

The church overlooks Pitt Town lagoon, with views across the valley to the Blue Mountains. Pitt Town is also notable for doubling as 'Wandin Valley' in the soap 'A Country Practice'.
