Isla’s keeping busy

Isla Fisher, who played Shannon Reed from 1994 until 1998, is set to appear in a number of upcoming films.

Due for limited release in the US in March, The Lookout is about a janitor who becomes a part of a bank heist. From IMDB, “After experiencing a brain injury, and facing a mental disability, janitor (Gordon-Levitt) becomes part of a heist at the bank which employs him.”

She is also due to star in a romantic comedy, Definitely, Maybe, about a political consultant going through a divorce, and an action comedy, Hot Rod, about an accident-prone daredevil who plans to jump the Snake River on a moped. Both films which are both currently in post-production.

Finally, it has also been announced that Isla will be starring in ‘sGroupies’s, a recently announced comedy “set in the world of rock ‘sn’s roll groupies.” It’ss certainly a busy year for Isla!

Since leaving Home and Away, Isla has starred in a number of films, including Wedding Crashers (2005) and I Heart Huckabees (2004). She has also released two novels, Fame and Bewitched.
