Aden’s day in court has arrived. Belle is putting herself in danger. Has Morag driven Ross away?
Extended Summary
Despite his denial, Belle is sure it was Aden who broke Angelo’s windscreen, and not wanting to get him in any more trouble, she pays to have it fixed before he can find out. But Angelo sees it in the shop, and sets Jack on the case. But the prints on the brick used aren’t Aden’s, and he’s let off the hook. In truth, they belong to someone working for the developers, who thought the car was Belle’s and meant it as a warning.
Before his second day of court begins, Aden accepts Morag’s help, but on the provision that she doesn’t mention his abuse. But with things looking bad, and Belle’s support, when it comes to the crunch, and Morag gives him an opening, Aden reveals the truth. It’s a huge moment for him, and his eyes don’t leave Belle’s as he opens up. With the truth out, he’s let off for attempted murder and given one hundred hours of community service for kidnapping. Afterwards, Belle congratulates him on finding the courage to come clean, and admits that she still loves him, but when Angelo arrives, Aden shuts the moment down.
Despite his earlier worries, Tony is loving having Joe around. But so is Rachel, to the point where she’s turning down shifts at the hospital to spend time with him, and secretly hoping his real parents never come back.
When Charlie discovers that Morag’s taken a day off taking care of Ross to go to court for Aden, she’s furious. Morag gets home to find Ross packed up and about to leave. He’s going to stay with Charlie for a while, to give Morag the space to decide what she really wants. Morag is hurt, but worse, she’s also somewhat relieved.
