Nicole has plans for Geoff. Jazz has found her man in Miles. Morag has a big date.
Extended Summary
When Leah hears about Miles’ picnic with Jazz, she’s surprised by her own disapproval. But Miles is well pleased with the way things went, happy to step foot once more into the world of relationships, and to take his time doing so. Jazz is already convinced she’s found the man for her, the perfect replacement for Tony. But are these two really right for one another?
Frustrated that Geoff doesn’t seem interested in her, and annoyed by Aden’s jibes, Nicole bets Aden two hundred dollars that she can get Geoff into bed in two weeks. Convinced she doesn’t stand a chance, Aden can hardly turn down such a great offer, and even if she wins, it will prove what a hypocrite Geoff really is. As soon as they’ve shaken hands Nicole jumps straight into it. After joining Geoff in the water, she ‘accidentally’ loses her bikini top, putting on a perfect act of mortification, and it’s all Geoff can do to look away long enough before Nicole eventually finds it again.
When Colleen sees them together in the water, with Nicole topless, she’s scandalised, and rushes straight to the Diner to tell Roman and Irene, and leaving Roman dreading his first foray into the uncomfortable side of parenting. But Geoff fails to take the bait, and Nicole decides a more underhanded method might be best. After gathering up a bunch of clothes she doesn’t want anymore, she offers them to Geoff, to give to Melody. Geoff doesn’t think they’re really Melody’s style, so Nicole tries another tactic, and gives them to Annie, who can hardly believe her luck. Geoff’s not sure about his sister dressing like Nicole or wearing makeup, but he is totally taken in by Nicole’s act, refusing to believe she is driven by an ulterior motive beyond kindness.
Though intent to play it cool, Morag is uncharacteristically excited about a dinner date with Ross Buckton. When Colleen discovers that Morag has booked a table at the Diner for a romantic evening, she kindly offers to work the night shift, but Irene puts her foot down, demanding that Colleen stay far away. Not so easily thwarted, Colleen shows up for dinner as a customer, and selects a table just next to Morag’s. There’s nothing Irene can do to stop her. Just as Morag is about to leave, Jack and Martha arrive at her door, and they’re not going anywhere until she’s heard what they have to say.
