Jase was an occasionally seen Summer Bay High bully. He first appeared confronting Dexter while he was advising VJ on what to expect at high school, demanding an ice cream from him. As per Dexter’s earlier advice, VJ called Jase dumb and freaky, then ran away, leaving Dexter to happily take a beating from Jase.

Jase was later in class with April when she was beginning to show signs of OCD. When she carefully laid her pens out on her desk, Jase made a point of messing them up and then “borrowed” one, sending her into a panic attack. Near the end of the year, he was present in the Diner when Irene, weakened by cancer treatment, dropped a tray of drinks but didn’t move from his table.

Early in 2012, Jase was among the students who were sent topless pictures of Sasha by Stu Henderson and taunted her about it in the Diner. Xavier pointed out that Jase was guilty of receiving child pornography and dunked his phone in a drink. A few months later, he laddishly congratulated Casey on bedding teacher Henri Brown in the school corridor, earning Casey the ire of bullying teacher Dave Townsend.
