Gypsy tells Joel she wants to drop out of school. Leah overhears Vinnie calling for “Kimmy” in his sleep. Fisher has a rival for Judith’s attentions. Edward goes to the city for medical tests.
Extended Summary
Vinnie drops by the Diner and Alf tells Leah she can leave now. Leah tells him she would like to take out a video. She wants to watch a horror video.
Joel talks to Gypsy; she tells Joel she wants to drop out of school. He suggests she take a few days off. She tells him she’d rather drop out as she has too many distractions and would rather get a job. He is not happy so asks her to return next year. She agrees, and says it’s a deal.
Sally and Leah are looking at Sally’s photos when she was younger, and also with Vinnie. Sally is trying to create a poster out of the photos for the wedding. The phone rings for Shauna but she has just left. The caller is Shauna’s mother.
Vinnie calls over saying that he was worried about Leah. She thinks it’s sweet of him. She tells him that she feels a bit nervous after the video and would like him to stay on the couch overnight. After Leah leaves, Sally tells him he is incorrigible as she knows of his acts of pretending to be scared.knows of his behaviour.
The girls have gone to bed. Vinnie is sleeping on the couch when he is having a nightmare. Shauna, Leah and Sally wake up. Leah prevents them waking him up as she believes it is dangerous to wake someone up from a nightmare. They hear him calling ‘Kimmy’, and wonder who she could be. Vinnie then screams, and Shauna suggests she may be a serial killer! He then stops and calls to her gently, and Leah comments that she doesn’t sound like a killer!
Fisher has feelings towards Judith’s attentions. In the Diner, he asks Alf what is everyone saying about him and Judith. Alf thought he did not care about everyone’s thought, and is surprised to hear that everyone thinks he should go out with her. At school, Harry asks him about his dinner with Judith later and Fisher tells her they are just friends and nothing more, but Harry does not believe him.
Alf is behaving oddly and Shauna is suspicious. Vinnie tells him he has not seen anything odd, and even suggests that it may be her. She begins to think Vinnie may be right. When Leah has returned, she tells Sally of Alf’s odd behaviour and his moods. Shauna overhears and is glad someone else has noticed and that it is not her.
Peta is ready to move and brings her luggage down. Joel offers to help her but she does not want him to help at first.
Judith decides to leave Edward and Peta alone and asks them would they do dinner. She leaves for a walk, and calls over at the Nashes. Gypsy is asleep so Judith decides to call again tomorrow. Joel persuades her to stay as he’d like the company. Meanwhile, Fisher calls over at Judith’s for dinner. Edward tells him she should be back soon and that he could stay and wait if he wants. Judith returns and Edward asks her what was she doing. He is surprised to hear she spent time with Joel and tells her that her Mr Right is with Fisher, not Joel! She tells him to stop interfering.
