Justine’s mum is not as innocent as she seems. Vinnie claims Adam is trying to frame him. Gypsy wins a radio competition but can’t use the prize.
Extended Summary
Justine’s mum explains that she has come to give her some support and that she has booked herself into the Caravan Park. Justine without beating around the bush asks her if she is off the heroin. Her mum says yes; she has been on methadone for quite a while now. She tells Justine how proud she is of her and that she is off drugs and has a new life for herself in the Bay. Later on, we see Justine’s mum at the hospital asking for a dose of methadone. She tells the nurse that if she doesn’t get it she will find another way. The nurse tells her she will fetch the doctor.
Adam makes Vinnie angry when he spots a cut out of himself in the Bonza Burger uniform. Adam will not remove it as it belongs to Bonza Burgers. Later at night Adam leaves in a hurry and asks Alf to lock up the club. Vinnie turns up at the club once it is dark and removes the cut out. The following day Adam wants Joel to arrest Vinnie for stealing the cut out and the day’s takings, which are missing. Adam believes that only Vinnie could have taken them. Vinnie when questioned by Joel doesn’t take it seriously until he learns of the missing day’s takings. Later Vinnie tells Sally that he didn’t pinch the money. Sally wants Vinnie to confess to Joel about the cardboard cut out. Vinnie believes that Adam knowing that he took the cut out decided to frame him for theft of the money. He believes that Adam has taken the money himself to make an insurance claim.
Gypsy wins a radio competition with the prize of a holiday at a holiday island resort. She discovers however that it is a two for the price of one deal, which Jesse cannot afford. Jesse has to cover Alf’s shift at the bait shop, which leaves Gypsy looking after Rachel. Vinnie shows Gypsy the Internet chat lines. While at the Caravan Park House Tom is using the computer and using one of the Internet chat lines. They don’t realise it but each is communicating with the other under other names. Gypsy writes of her moans about her relationship whilst Tom is understanding. The following day Gypsy is put out that Tom is using the computer so she rushes off to school and logs on there. They meet up once again in the chat room and complain to each other about their relationships. They still have no idea that they are writing to each other.
