James is suspicious of Diana’s sudden change of attitude towards Chloe – could she be after custody of Olivia? Peta reveals the truth about her fake Gran to Irene. A mystery man takes a shine to Hayley.
Extended Summary
Alf is left shouting after the boat that forced him into the water for his safety. The stowaway rushes from the boat and the Dock. Alf when he tries to describe to Joel who took Travis and Rebecca’s boat. When they go to the boat Rebecca discovers $10 is missing of the $50 dollars she had in her purse. Joel tells Travis that they will increase the police patrols but he believes the culprit won’t come back. When Alf locks up the surf club for the night the young stowaway comes out of hiding. The following morning at the Surf club Alf when goes to open it up discovers a whole of hamburger rolls strewn over the pool table
Diana goes round to visit Olivia and Chloe and tries to persuade Chloe to go out while she looks after Olivia. Chloe insists they all stay in together at Irene’s. Later at the end of the episode we see Diana meet her lawyer (solicitor) to discover if she could get custody of Olivia. Her lawyer says no; it is virtually impossible, as grandmothers have no legal rights. Diana mutters that she will just have to think of something else.
Will and Peta are phoning all the Kennedy’s in the phone book trying to find a Frances Kennedy who is Annie’s daughter. They finally manage to track her down and leave a message on her answer machine. Frances calls back when Peta is out and Annie takes a message. Later Annie phones the number and tells Frances that she is her mother. Irene decides to call round and see Peta’s gran as she is concerned at the amount of time Will is spending there and not phoning Irene about missing his meals. Annie tells Irene that he is no bother and she loves having him. Whilst Irene is there Annie’s daughter Frances appears at the door and Annie and Frances make up their quarrel and Annie is asked to go back with Frances which she accepts. Peta then has to tell Irene about Annie and Irene then demands to know the whole story.
