In the final update for the season, the character of Mitch McColl was added to the opening titles, over three and a half months since his debut back in July.

After the show’s first dalliance with some visual effects back in Duncan’s shot (introduced in Set 4), Mitch’s shot was a particularly unusual one—which saw an image of him composited over his own silhouette, before he brings his face forward into the light. Certainly one of the most creative shots of the era, it sadly only lasted four weeks, until the end of the season.
