One of the most senior oncologists in the country, Dr Pervan arrived at the Northern Districts Hospital without warning to oversee Kane Phillips’ treatment for testicular cancer. When Flynn questioned his involvement in the case, Pervan explained he had been contacted by a mutual friend and asked Flynn not to ask any questions. He met Kane while he was undergoing chemotherapy treatment and assured him his involvement wouldn’t mean any increase in medical fees.

In fact, he had been hired by Ian Osbourne, Tasha’s biological father, who had taken an interest in the occupants of the beach house whilst surveilling them via hidden cameras.

Dr Pervan bears an uncanny resemblance to Dr Geoff Olivetti, the hospital administrator a few years later. And both of them look a lot like Dr Philip Grigg, the senior surgeon from a few years previous.
