One of a group of surfers visiting Summer Bay and a friend of Reuben Humphries, Bondy was first glimpsed hanging out with Reuben, Matilda and Matilda’s friend Emma at the surf club, with Matilda choosing to spend time with them rather than leaving with Ric.He came by the caravan park house with the group the following day to pay their rent.

Bondy arrived at the surf club with Reuben and Emma when Matilda told them Cassie was letting them have a party at her house.He was later seen at the party, mostly in Emma’s company, and left with the rest of the surfers when Ric caught Reuben kissing Mattie and threw them out.He probably took part in vandalising the house once it was empty.Jack later reported that the group had been caught and charged.

After the group, including Matilda, had relocated to Sandy Bay, Bondy was seen chatting with Matilda and Reuben in the group’s van with the others teasing him about being chased out of the water by a dolphin he thought was a shark.When Matilda hid from some passing police officers and admitted her family didn’t know where she was, the boys were annoyed with her for potentially getting them in more trouble.

The boys eventually decided to skip bail and leave the area.However, some weeks later Emma discovered she was pregnant and Bondy was the father.She managed to get in touch with him and left town to meet him.She later returned to Summer Bay and it wasn’t made clear whether or not she and Bondy were going to stay in touch.
