Anna arrived in Summer Bay with her son Seb. Barely scraping by, the carried around their possessions a few bags. Anna, despite being ill, managed to get a cleaning job at the school, which Seb usually helped her out with. With nowhere to stay, they hid out in a disused caravan in the caravan park. Kirsty soon found out, but Seb talked her around. However when Rhys discovered a needle he through Seb and Anna out of the caravan park.

Anna soon found somewhere else to stay – the hospital and her condition worsened until increasingly out of it, she asked to see Donald Fisher. Seb diregarded her wishes initially, but then Fisher was called for again. By the time he arrived at the hospital, Anna had died and had left her message with Seb, Don was Seb’s grandfather. Anna had a relationship with Alan at some point during the 80’s.
