Carl Summons was sent to Summer Bay High to investigate Diesel Williams’ claims that Sally had been sexually harrassing him.After briefly being introduced to Sally and Flynn, he spoke to several of the students, including Tasha, Cassie, Henry, Robbie and Jason Pappa, with Dan present as a witness and received conflicting views on the pair’s relationship.He then spoke to Diesel, who claimed that Sally had offered to tutor him and then kissed him and told him she loved him and that she had had Cassie and Ric threaten him into staying quiet.When Dan refused to back up Diesel’s version of events, Diesel presented them with some e-mails apparently from Sally declaring her feelings.Carl then interviewed Sally with Barry present.She maintained her innocence but Carl pointed out she had ignored guidelines by spending so much time with Diesel out of school and inviting him to stay with her and presented her with the e-mails, which she denied sending but couldn’t explain.

Carl seemed to be coming down on Diesel’s side, despite Barry defending Sally.Diesel approached the pair again a few days later, claiming Sally had threatened him and asked him to drop the allegations.Although Barry was sceptical about the claim, Diesel said he had further proof of her feelings.Barry and Carl went to see Sally and asked to see her locket, which turned out to contain a photo of Diesel.Although Sally insisted Diesel must have planted it, Carl told her he was standing her down as a teacher and informing the police.
