On Monday 10th April 1989 (Episode 281), four weeks after the last change, the opening titles were given a complete overhaul for the first time since Episode 1. The style remained the same, but all character shots now featured a coloured brush stroke like the filler shots (this had only happened twice previously, with Sally in the Pilot episode and Morag in the previous 1989 set). All characters from the previous set remained, with the only addition being Dag Dog in a shot with Sally and Steven. The 'Home and Away' logo also received a subtle change, going from white to a pale blue.
