Unusually the 6th update for 1989 was not brought about by a change in the cast, but rather a change of style for one of the characters. Having decided to leave her punk image behind her in an attempt to impress Steven Matheson, Emma Jackson's shot in the opening titles was updated accordingly in the very next episode - Episode 426 airing on Monday 30th October 1989.
