The first set of titles for the season came with spoilers of sorts. Steven Matheson had been removed, foreshadowing his departure three weeks later, and Michael Ross was added for the first time alongside Pippa, in a ‘couple’ shot—which pretty much answered the “will they, won’t they?” question posed in the 1990 season finale.

Other changes consisted of Grant Mitchell, who had left 2 weeks before the end of the 1990 season, being removed and Michael’s son Haydn Ross being added.
