The sixth set of titles for 1997 saw quite a few changes for both new and existing characters.

Added for the first time were Aaron Welles and Tiegan Brook. Whilst Aaron had made his debut back in May, Tiegan had made a return in the same month as a regular, following a stint earlier in the year.

The refresh was clearly held back for the departure of Shannon Reed, who had left Summer Bay the previous week, and her shot with Sam was removed accordingly.

Sam now had his own solo shot, whilst Joey was moved into a new shot with Tiegan. Now a couple, Travis and Rebecca were given a new duo shot. Chloe and Irene were separated to give them both new solo appearances, whilst a new filler of some people jogging along the beach was added at the end of the titles.
