The 2003 season saw a slight revamp of the opening titles, with all actors shots refreshed and the entire sequence being given a boost in saturation and brightness. Many of the background plates showing stock footage of day-to-day beach life were removed, with only underwater shots of marine life remaining.

The frames containing the actors were made much larger, with much of the blurry effects removed, and the character names were re-introduced having been dropped at the beginning of 2000. The text also scrolled along with the frames now, rather than fading in and out for each actor.

A further revamp took place from Set 5, when the show started being broadcast in HD.
