Following his tragic death in the Olympic cliffhanger two weeks earlier, Noah Lawson stuck around as vision of wife Hayley for a further three episodes on the show’s return. The episode after his final departure, airing on Thursday 2nd September, saw a new opener debut with a number of updated shots.

Alongside Noah, Max Sutherland was removed having also left the bay in the previous episode, bringing a third variation to the tug-of-war shot.

Dan Baker and Josie Russell were added for the first time following their debuts in August, in a new shot alongside Jesse. Leah was moved into a new shot with Hayley, whilst there was a new shot introduced for Robbie, Tasha, and Kim. The filler shot of the lone jogger was replaced by a toy windmill.

There was also a change in the colour grading for a couple of shots. The Home and Away titlecard now featured a bright blue sky instead of the heavily tinted orange version, with the same change applied to the shot of Alf, Irene and Colleen. The text size for the character and actor names was also increased for a second time, having previously been tweaked in Set 2.
