Extended Summary
Stacey looks for Brett.
Steven, Bobby and Carly think of how to find a way to get Gary to confess to his attack towards Carly. Steven comes up with a plan to bug him with a small tape recorder.
Gary has found Brett in on the coast. Stacey finds both Gary and Brett. Brett tells Stacey it was a suicide attempt, and explains to her why.
Phil apologises to Brett for not accepting his apology earlier.
Ailsa has found out that Celia is planning to sell her store to the Macklins. Ailsa is angry since she does not like Gordon Macklin and his family.
Carly gets the mini-tape-recorder from Steven and they test it on Colleen, Lance’s mum. Carly has it hidden on her and speaks to Colleen and the their tape recorder plan works.
Ailsa is angry at Stacey. Stacey tells Ailsa that she won’t buy the store from Celia.
Carly has the tape recorder on and goes down to Gary on the beach.
