Extended Summary

Alison and Frank say neither of them have taken the cheque book.

The bank says six cheques have been used so far and Stacey will call in the police.

Floss and Neville are out running to train for the Fun Run even though she does not really want to be in the Fun Run! (Funny music plays) They meet Bob Barnett and he gets a call to come to the Macklin office.

Tom talks to Carly at school about why she came home drunk. They argue.

Bob is at Stacey’s office questioning Stacey, Alison and Frank. Barnett asks if someone gave out the code. Alison thinks of Gary, but does not say anything.

Alison comes to Gary and asks if he has stolen the cheque book. He denies it.

Alison tells Barnett that Brett also knows the code so Barnett wants to question him too. Stacey gets angry at her for implying that Brett could have done it.

Tom grounds both Bobby and Carly for Carly’s coming home drunk, despite the fact that Bobby has not done anything! He grounded the two so that Carly would not feel singled out as she says she is.

Brett has got himself an alibi so he could not have stolen the cheque book. Stacey phones Frank. Frank gets fired by Gordon Macklin. He is now upset over the fact that he has been fired despite having done nothing wrong.

Bobby sneaks out of the Fletchers even though she’s grounded. She puts a pillow under her cover to make it look as if she’s sleeping and Carly does the same thing!

Gary drinks champagne with Alison to cheer her up since she also got fired. Carly turns up while they’re at Jeff’s place. Alison makes Carly jealous!

Bobby is at Frank’s place and they both watch television.

Carly comes home and Tom sits in her room waiting for her! (Emotional music plays)
