Extended Summary
Martin wants to dump Leanne as she has changed so much lately from Celia trying to change her.
As he finds it hard to dump her, he tries to explain it in business terms using words from a book! She does not understand what he means but she pretends she does and she misunderstands the whole thing!
Leanne talks to Celia about what Martin said to her. Celia gets the wrong idea and thinks that Martin wants to marry Leanne!
Leanne tells Martin that she wants to marry him and now he feels he is in more trouble than ever.
Nicholas calls at the Stewarts’ house and tells Alf he has won a prize as Alf is an investor in Macklin Development. The prize is two tickets for a round the world trip and $5000 worth of free commendation (Nicholas did it to get Alf and Ailsa off his back with the ideas in Macklin Development). Alf and Ailsa are very surprised. When Nicholas leaves, he leaves the mystery letter secretly on their kitchen table among Roo’s stuff.
Alf opens the envelope and is shocked at its contents. Ailsa asks him what is wrong and he shows her the contents: the letter with a photo of her and Graham. Ailsa is shocked.
Martin comes up with an idea to try to make Leanne break up with him instead of the other way around.
Alf confronts Roo about the mystery letter and says she has to leave his house. He says she is no longer his daughter. She tries to convince Alf that she didn’t write it but both Alf and Ailsa do not believe her.
