Episode 499

Extended Summary

Grant tells Ailsa that a student has a crush on him. He doesn’t say it is Vicki. Carly hears it too.

Carly invites Grant over for dinner at Tom and Pippa’s place. He says OK to that.

Sophie and Sally are out walking. They talk a fair bit. Sophie asks Sally how old she was when she got fostered. Sally talks a lot about the Fletchers’ history of fostering.

Sally and Sophie will make a dinner together again.

Carly got a bit dizzy when she was talking to Grant. Grant finds out she is on a diet and that she has only eaten an apple for lunch so that’s the reason why she is dizzy.

Grant is over at Tom and Pippa’s house and eats dinner which Sally and Sophie have made. During dinner, Sally asks Tom and Pippa if they can foster Sophie. Sally explains that Sophie would like that very much.

Ailsa thinks Emma might be the one who has a crush on Grant. Emma tells Ailsa that she is not the one but that Vicki is the one who likes Grant.

The next morning, Sophie is angry with Sally for putting Tom and Pippa in a spot like that when she asked if they could foster Sophie.

Tom and Pippa talk about fostering Sophie. Pippa would like to foster Sophie but Tom has a few doubts.

Vicki asks Grant for more tutoring. He don’t want to do it anymore as he knows that she just has a crush on him. He says no to giving her more tutoring.

Emma and Vicki continue to give each other a hard time. Emma is worried that Grant might get into trouble because of the way Vicki is carrying on since Vicki gets her friends to think that Grant is the one who is interested in her.

Emma teases Vicki, in front the students, that Vicki is after Grant and not the other way around as Vicki tries to make it seem that Grant is the one running after her. Vicki feels embarrassed and is angry. Emma told Vicki that Grant thinks that Vicki is pestering him.

Ben turns up in Summer Bay again. He arrives at Tom and Pippa’s house by car. He uses the signal horn on the car. Pippa get a bit annoyed and thinks it was rude! She doesn’t know that it is Ben and vice versa. They don’t get on from when they first met a while back when they accidentally met over some dispute.

Ben buys flowers for Carly and gives them to her in the Diner. Pippa find out that the man who annoyed her earlier is Ben and vice versa. Both Ben and Pippa laugh. Carly is puzzled since she doesn’t know that they already met under bad circumstances!

Vicki comes to Grant’s caravan in the caravan park. She talks to him about Emma making fun of her at the school and that she heard from Emma that Grant told Ailsa in Diner that she was pestering him. Grant explains it wasn’t like that.

The Fletchers celebrate Ben and Carly. Vicki comes in. She will put an evil plan in action to get back at Grant. She starts pretending and starts crying heaps. She tells the Fletchers that Grant tried to sexually abuse her.

All are very shocked.
