Episode 566

Extended Summary

Sophie, Steven and Pippa talk in the kitchen. Sophie is thinking about what to do as an experiment for a science project. Ben and Carly will be going to see a movie tonight.

Pippa tells her family that their “economy budget” is a bit tight at the moment.

Grant and Jane are still in Grant’s caravan after the special dinner together. Jane has to get home in time since she starts working early in the morning. She is mysterious about her job and doesn’t say what it is.

Jane wants to rent a caravan in the Caravan Park to live there until she finds a house to move into. Grant talks to Pippa about it and Jane can rent a caravan.

Jane offers Sophie to help her with the science project and Jane comes up with an idea for an experiment for it. The experiment is to test how long various pencils works. Sophie is grateful for giving her that idea.

Bobby is a bit annoyed at Alf since he takes for granted that he will be the leader in their political campaign. Fisher tries to convince her that Alf is much more experienced in this sort of thing than she is.

Ben talks to Grant about how things are going with Jane. Grant says that everything is ok.

Ben comes up with an idea as a surprise for Pippa to help her to get some extra money since her economy is a bit bad the moment. He borrows Grant’s car and drives away to organise the surprise for Pippa.

Emma and Vicki Baxter give each other a hard time.

Emma is a bit worried if she will do badly on an exam. Vicki is confident in herself and she is convinced that she will get an excellent result on it. Emma and Vicki argue about it and Emma bets her 10 dollars that she will do better than Vicki on the exam. Vicki agrees to the bet.

Vicki makes fun of Sophie because of her reading difficulties.

During a sport lesson in the school, Grant asks the students questions on some history subjects outdoors! The student’s thinks that this is much better than a normal boring history lesson.

Jane Holland moves into a caravan in the Caravan Park.

Ben comes back with Grant’s car and tells Pippa that he have a present for her. He shows her the “present” in Grant’s car. He has bought a lot of chickens for Pippa and says that he will build an enclosure for the chickens. During the time he will build it he had planned to keep the chickens enclosed by some wire that was unused in the caravan park but Pippa say that she have just sold it since it was of no use!

She is thankful for the present but is worried where she will have the chickens until the enclosure is finished!

Vicki and Emma continue to be angry at each other and are constantly giving each other a hard time. Sophie has thought of a way to get back at Vicki for teasing her because of her reading difficulties. Sophie puts a bucket filled with water on top of a door to a classroom. Vicki enters it and gets water all over her! Sophie and Emma and a lot of other people laugh when they see it!

Vicki is very angry and wants to raise the bet regarding the exam results. Emma is ok with it and the bet ends up being 50 dollars! Steven thinks the whole thing is starting to get out of hand.

Paul and Steven will be helping Emma to study some history for the history exam. Emma tells Alf about it while he is drinking some beer.

Grant talks to Jane outside her caravan. She is acting a bit arrogant all of a sudden. She seems to be hiding something regarding her job.

Grant notices that his car is full of chickens! Ben explains it all to him.

Ben moves the chickens out of Grant’s car and he think they can stay overnight in Pippa’s house but Pippa says no to that!

Alf and Grant are both out driving and bump into each other by mistake (the cars bump into each other). There is no serious damage to the cars. A police car stops and Jane walks out. Grant is shocked to find out that she is in the police force!

Alf must be involved in a test if he is driving with alcohol in his blood or not. Since he had some beer earlier, he is over the legal limit to be driving. Alf gets arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol!
