Extended Summary

Carly talks to Bobby in the Diner. Carly is a bit worried because of the insurance investigation business regarding her lost brooch. She is worried she will end up guilty of the insurance company’s accusation that she didn’t lose the brooch even though she is innocent and have actually lost the brooch.

Adam comes into the Diner very nicely dressed and has flowers and tells Carly and Bobby he will give the flowers to Maz and give her some jewellery. He picks up a bottle of champagne in the Diner to celebrate with Maz. He thinks that all this will make Maz move back in with him at the beach house.

Adam comes over to Grant’s place with the flowers etc. Grant jokes and acts as if it is for him. Adam talks to Grant. He wants his flat for him and Maz alone to talk with her later. Grant says ok after a while and Adam can have the flat alone for an hour.

Steven is out at Jennifer’s house again. They talk. She is painting outdoors.

They talk inside her house and Jennifer asks who gave him a lift. He explains it was Ben. Steven is still lying and says he is going to tech and pretends he is older than he really is. She tries to make him realise they can only be friends no matter what.

Sally buys candy in Alf’s store while Maz talks to her and Adam as well.

Adam talks to Maz after it. He kisses her and asks when she finishes work. He say he have a surprise for her. She is curious.

Carly is worried about the insurance company and her lost brooch and that they don’t seem to believe that she really have lost the brooch.

Bobby has morning sicknesses due to her pregnancy.

Carly phones the insurance company and they have good news. Carly got the money for the insurance of the lost brooch. She is very happy.

Steven asks Jennifer to spend some time with him but she tells him she want to do things on her own for a while. He understands. (Emotional music)

Adam and Maz are at Grant’s place and Adam has shown her the flowers he got for her and they drink champagne. She is very happy and excited and he gives her the present. It is jewellery (Carly’s brooch). She is shocked and thinks it must have cost a fortune. He says it cost a bit but it is ok. They are very happy. (Emotional music).

She get curious why Grant isn’t there since she has heard he was supposed to be there to do some work. She thinks Adam got them there alone so Adam can seduce her.

He says he got Grant to leave them alone so they can talk. Maz is ok again and Adam sweet-talks her and say he really care about her, which he does.

Carly talks to Pip and Bobby about the money. And Carly wants to get the boatshed now. Pippa and Bobby think she shall be careful and that she may need some expert financial advice before going ahead with it.

Steven works out in surf club and Grant teaches him and talks to him.

Sally, Pippa and Bobby look through a trunk with old baby clothes (that are outgrown) that Pippa have no need for. Bobby will take the clothes for her baby and is grateful.

Steven read a training magazine and seems to be up with something. And he talked to Grant about training-injuries while working out with Grant. (Tense music)

Carly notices her brooch on Maz’s dress (the jewellery that Adam gave her). Carly is very surprised. Carly tells Maz and Adam that it is definitely the brooch that she lost. Adam owns up and say he didn’t really buy it. He found it at the recycling place. Maz feels bad since he said he bought it. Maz feels bad and are tearful.

Steven works out more in surf club. He is doing heavy training. Grant helps him.

Steven wants to do one more set of heavy weight lifting and he strains himself in the back. He say something have popped in the back. It seems Steven may have faked it. (Tense music)

Grant seems worried and tells him to lie still. Grant phones Pippa and explains. She will come to the surf club.

Maz is very upset and argues with Adam. She feels cheap since he didn’t buy the brooch for her. He wants to explain. And he explains he took it to the jewellery shop for cleaning and then found out it was worth 10 000 dollars and that he didn’t know it was Carly’s brooch.

She is shocked that it was worth so much. He says he gave it to her since he really cares for her. She is stunned. (Emotional music). She forgives Adam.

Grant and Pip help Steven from surf club and he needs to be checked out by a specialist. Sally tells Carly at home that Steven had an accident.

Carly feels very bad about the brooch being “found”. She notices that a letter from the insurance company have appeared in the mail.
