Haydn makes some enemies at Summer Bay High. A drunken Alan Stone becomes violent towards Karen.

Extended Summary

Alf and Ailsa talks to Bobby in the Diner about her soon-to-be born baby. Something seem to be bothering Bobby.

Blake and Karen meet Haydn. Karen thinks that he is a nice boy. Blake thinks Haydn is ridiculous.

Alan Stone picks on Blake, as usual, in school!

Haydn starts school. Grant holds a class and welcomes Haydn to the class. Grant explains about the Romeo and Juliette play they will do and that it will be a modern version of the play. Karen is asked to read out who will play the roles of Romeo and Juliette. It will be Blake and Sophie doing the roles!

Pippa talks to Bobby. Bobby is thinking a lot and it is obvious something is bothering her. Bobby seems a bit worried about the pain of giving birth. Pippa explains about giving birth. Bobby thinks it will be ok.

Romeo and Juliette class continues with Grant. Haydn knows the play very well from his previous school and acts like a big snob. And he picks on Sophie since she reads a few difficult words wrong. Grant doesn’t seem to like Haydn’s attitude, which is understandable. And Haydn commented about why they would like to do a modern version of the play. Grant tries to make him understand that reason is to make it more understandable to younger people.

Bobby tells Pippa that she is worried that her baby might be deformed or something like that. She has had weird dreams about it lately. Pippa tell her that it is nothing to worry about.

Blake and Haydn start a small fight since Haydn maked fun of Sophie earlier in class. Alan Stone sees it and talks to Blake and Haydn. Haydn covers up what happened by saying that it just was a part of the Romeo and Juliette rehearsal! After that, in a school corridor, Blake thanks Haydn. Haydn says that he only saved his own neck. He says that he couldn’t care less about what happens to Blake. (Bluesy music plays)

Blake talks to Karen and Sophie about how weird and stuck-up Haydn is. Karen defends Haydn and means that he might be shy or something like that.

Alan Stone receives reviews texts on his latest learning-book. The letter is from a book publisher. Stone opens it and looks at it and is in a hurry to put it back in the envelope just so Grant won’t look at it. Grant was the one who gave Stone the letter since Grant brought in the mail. Stone tell Grant that the publishers love his latest book. Grant understands clearly that Stone is lying about it.

Grant talks to Haydn. He explains about Soph’s reading difficulties. Haydn feels bad about making fun of her earlier when she read a few difficult words wrong. Haydn and Grant seem to get on ok. Haydn finds out that Grant has been in a finer school earlier just as Haydn was.

Haydn tells Grant that he feel that his dad, Michael Ross, has taken him away from all his friends. He say he don’t belong in Summer Bay or in an ordinary school such as Summer Bay High.

Sally buys candy in Alf’s store. Stone comes in and buys alcohol from Alf. He says it is for a few people that will be visiting him.

Grant’s class are a bit noisy before Grant turns up. Haydn apologises to Sophie. Soph accepts it and are ok about the whole thing.

Alan Stone is alone in his caravan and drinks alcohol while reading the publisher’s letter. They aren’t interested in his book. Stone feels miserable and drinks a lot to forget his disappointment.

Bobby puts on a maternity-dress that Pippa have made. Sally, Ailsa and Pippa are there too. Bobby is very grateful for the dress.

Sally listens to Bobby’s baby to feel if it kicks. The baby doesn’t kick at all at this moment. Sally is a bit disappointed.

Karen talks to Haydn. She asks if he wants to come with her, Blake and Sophie to the Diner. Haydn says he isn’t that desperate.

Blake, Sophie and Karen talk with Ailsa in the Diner. They say that Alan Stone didn’t turn up to school earlier on today when he left school for a while and no one know where he is. Meanwhile, Stone is in his caravan and is very drunk.

Karen admits to Sophie that she likes Haydn. They are in Alf’s store and Stone comes in very drunk and wants to but another bottle of Scotch. Alf says no. Stone gets angry. Karen said a smart comment and Stone get angry with her. Alf throws Stone out of his store!

Karen is worried what Stone will do to her later on. Alf say he won’t be able to do anything or there will be hell to pay!
