Sally realises Tom won’t be home for Christmas. Haydn threatens to come between Blake and Sophie.
Extended Summary
Bobby and Fisher talk in the Diner about Grant going away with his sister. They will miss Grant while he is away.
Karen comes into the Diner and tells Ailsa and Fisher among others that Haydn has cut himself on something down at the beach. Pippa get’s phone call about it and she know that Haydn is hurt. She will go to find Michael to tell him about it.
Sally and Pippa have been out Christmas shopping. Sally is excited about it.
A guy called Brad helps Haydn with the foot injury. Fisher comes to the surf club to check on Haydn. A lot of students are there. Haydn seems ok but needs to be checked out by the hospital. Fisher talks to Pippa on the phone and he will take Haydn to the hospital.
Sally looks through all the Christmas stuff and reads a Christmas card with Tom’s name on it. Sally is sad. (Music plays)
Karen talks to Blake about Haydn. She is worried about Haydn. Blake isn’t that worried. Karen gets angry with Blake.
Pippa comes to the boatshed and tells Michael about Haydn’s accident on the beach. She explains that Fisher took him to hospital. Michael is in a hurry to get to the hospital.
Ailsa and Bobby find out that Haydn isn’t seriously hurt. They are happy for that.
Sally is at home and is sad. She doesn’t want to put up the Christmas decorations anymore since she misses Tom so much. She is annoyed. Pippa are puzzled since she was so excited a while ago. Sally says that Christmas decorations are for kids. Sally goes out.
Marilyn found Sally crying on the beach so she talks to her. Sally is still annoyed and cries and says that it is a private thing and that it has nothing to do with Maz. Sally moves away a bit further from Maz.
Fisher comes to Alf’s house and tells Karen and Blake that Haydn is ok and that he needed six stiches. Michael has taken Haydn home. Fisher asks Karen what happened when Haydn cut himself.
Karen explains that Blake and Haydn was just mucking around and that it was an accident when Haydn cut himself on something at the beach.
Maz talks to Pippa. Pippa are puzzled about what is wrong with Sally since she was so upset.
Haydn and Michael come home to the caravan. Haydn is walking with crutches. Michael tells Haydn that he has to rest a lot. Haydn feels that Michael is overreacting about the whole thing.
Michael thinks that Haydn reckons that Summer Bay is a bit better than he thought at first. Haydn get annoyed and say that he don’t really like it here and that he will go back to the city when his mum comes back.
Sally is still sad and is in Diner. Bobby talks to her. Maz comes in and tell Ailsa that it is something troubling Sally. Bobby talks to them since Bobby also noticed that Sally is sad.
Marilyn talks to Sally and she will follow Marilyn to the beach house.
Michael talks to Pippa about teenage problems. He is puzzled why Haydn can’t adjust to Summer Bay. Pippa tell him about problems she had occasionally with some of the kids in her family earlier.
Karen talks to Haydn in Michael’s caravan. Haydn talks to Karen about Blake. Haydn still can’t get on with Blake.
Karen wants Blake to go and visit Haydn to see how he is. Karen persuades Blake to do it even though he didn’t want to.
Sally helps Maz in the kitchen at the beach house. They are baking a cake. Maz talks to Sally. Maz also talks about Christmas cards she will send to people.
Maz also talks about Mrs Winston (Marilyn’s old lady friend that died) and that her parents are dead etc. Sally is very sad and she thinks of Tom. Sally cries and Maz continue to talk to her. Sally still misses Tom a lot. Maz tries to cheer her up. Sally is crying heaps and gives Maz a hug. (Music plays).
Sally explains to Pippa what the problem was (that she misses Tom a lot, especially now during Christmas time). Sally wants to put up the Christmas decorations anyway now. Maz will help with that. Sally wants Maz to celebrate Christmas with them since Maz have only experienced one real Christmas celebration with a tree etc.
Sally asks Pippa if Maz can celebrate Christmas with them. Pippa is ok with that and Maz is excited.
Blake comes to Michael’s caravan and speaks to Haydn. They are tense with each other. Blake asks how he is. Haydn gets annoyed since he knows that Karen talked Blake into visiting him. Haydn knows that Blake doesn’t really want to be there. Blake and Haydn are angry with each other. Haydn says that he is looking forward to the school play where he gets to kiss Sophie in front of an audience. Blake is now very angry.
