It is a music box looking like a cage with some fake birds in it and it plays music too! (Ailsa talked to Carly about it earlier today in the Diner about how much she hated that present but she told Alf that she loved it since she didn’t want to disappoint him).
Ailsa are worried since Carly will get nearly the same present and she are certain that Ailsa will hate it as much as she did! Alf thinks Carly will appreciate the present a lot.

Ailsa say that she only said that so Alf wouldn’t be hurt since it was a present for Ailsa for their first Christmas together a long time ago.
Carly and Ben talks about it. Ben is glad that he found out in time about the bad present. There are no hard feelings and they laugh about it.
