Michael does not approve of Fin’s new boyfriend. Blake grants Meg three wishes.
Extended Summary
Alf and Sophie are in the Diner. Fisher comes in and talks to them and Bobby about Marilyn and Adam’s trip around Australia.
Fisher tells Bobby that his new house is ready for him move in and he is very happy.
Bobby is looking forward to be able to spend some time alone with Greg. Alf and Ailsa will be babysitting Sam.
Randy and Fin are at the Diner. Alf sees Randy and asks Sophie about him. He does not think it is good for Fin to spend time with a guy like that as Randy is a bit of a drifter.
Blake talks to Julia about the great day they had together. Julia admits it feels good having Blake to share the responsibility of Meg.
Alf is over at Pippa and Michael’s place. Michael offers him a beer but Alf says no as he is driving and does not want to get into the trouble like when he lost his licence a long time ago.
Michael talks to Alf and Sophie about Randy and that he doesn’t like Fin hanging around him all the time. Sophie defends Randy. Sally says Randy is kind of cute!
Randy and Fin are spending time together at the beach. They are talking a lot. Randy explains that his family moved to New Zealand a while ago and he thought it was a good time to move out on his own. They are getting to know each other a lot better.
Randy explains he likes to be free and does not want to have too much responsibilities to handle.
Randy makes a comment about living for today and that one day one could die. It reminds Fin of Meg who is dying and she gets sad. Fin explains about it. Randy apologises.
They start playing around on the beach and chase each other and are having a great time.
Fisher tells Nick and Lucinda that his new house is ready to move in. They are very happy now that they will be able to live there for the time being so they don’t have to live in the caravan, which is getting on their nerves.
Meg is having a rest on the sofa. She is a bit exhausted after the time at the amusement park with Blake and Julia.
Meg talks to Blake about a dream she had now. Meg has always wondered how it would like to fly when she was little. She used to dream about it a lot when she was younger. Now Blake was in the dream too and Meg and Blake had a great time in the dream together. She is very happy.
Meg explains she always wanted to try hang-gliding but now she thinks it is too late (emotional music).
Fin and Randy talk more at the beach. They start mucking around again for fun; Randy lifts her and dips her in water (music plays).
Julia and Alf talk about Meg. She talks about the fact that Meg might not have so many times left to be happy.
Blake gets angry because they talk about her as if she was nearly dead. He thinks there must be something that the doctors can do to save Meg. Julia explains they have tried everything and says they have to accept it.
Blake has a hard time accepting it.
Sophie tells Sally to ask Randy in to dinner. Sally does that. Michael thinks it was a bad idea to do.
Randy and Fin comes in. Randy is OK with dinner. Michael tries to get out of it but Sophie say it is totally OK that Randy stays for dinner.
Nick and Lucinda are helping Fisher move his stuff out of the beach house.
Randy speaks to Michael while Michael is cooking dinner. Michael finds out that Randy has been in the navy.
He is surprised. Randy explains he wants to spend quite a bit of time together with Fin. Michael explains he is a bit worried because she is slacking off with her studies since she met Randy. Michael accepts that Fin isn’t his daughter so she can decide for herself. Randy agrees with that but can also see Michael’s point.
Fisher, Lucinda and Nick arrive at Fisher’s new house. They notice the house is still not dry from paint. Fisher is puzzled since it was supposed to be ready.
Randy is having dinner with Fin, Sophie, Sally and Michael. They have a good time.
Blake tells Meg that he will make three of her wishes come true. She explains that she would love to go flying but they both understand it will be a bit hard to organise. He says he will make it work anyway so that she will be able to go flying.
Michael speaks to Fin. He explains that he is very worried that she is slacking off her schoolwork. She gets annoyed with Michael. She explains that she can do whatever she wants as she is only a boarder at Michael and Pippa’s house. Fin says she will do her homework anyway and then she will be able to see Randy.
