Extended Summary
Meg returns home with Blake and her mother. She is very happy. Blake carried Meg to the sofa.
Julia is being a bit over-protective (which is totally understanding because of the circumstances) of Meg when Meg wants to be treated normally. She wants to be alone with her mum for a while. Blake goes to the Diner.
Nick offers Lucinda to pose for one of her paintings. He doesn’t know that the painting he will pose for is going to be a nude one! Lucinda thinks it is funny and tells Fisher about it.
Fisher tells Greg and Sam about it. Sam tells Bobby about it. They all think it is very funny!
Blake is in the Diner and is waiting for Meg to call which she will do after she has had a talk with her mum.
Meg explains to her mum that she wants to be treated normally for these last days of her life.
Nick looks through an old photo album which belongs to Lucinda. There are some funny photos in it of Lucinda’s rebellious youth, and also a lot of photos of her and David too and of Lucinda and Ryan as well.
Sophie asks Nick and Lucinda if they can give her some more help with the nursery room. They feel a bit awkward as Nick doesn’t like it when Lucinda spends time with Ryan as Ryan is also helping Sophie with the room. Later on, Lucinda persuades Nick into being OK with it for Sophie’s sake.
Blake is getting a bit tired of waiting. A girl (played by Vanessa Goddard who played the role of Morag age 11 in Bobby’s wedding episode 243 in 1989) holds up the phone in the Diner for a very long time so Blake is getting worried if Meg is trying to call him while the girl is tying up the phone. After a while the phone in the Diner is free and Meg rings the Diner. Blake answers quickly and speaks to her. He is now allowed come over to her house now.
Blake brings over some flowers to Meg and a few tapes they can listen to. They are playing Monopoly as well and they both have a good time.
Nick finds out from Bobby, Ailsa, Greg and Sam that Lucinda will paint him nude! He is shocked. He speaks to Lucinda about it and isn’t happy about it.
Meg and Blake talk. They are scared of how it will be when she is about to die.
Julia and Ailsa speak about Meg in the Diner and after a while they go outside near the beach to talk.
Nick, Lucinda and Ryan help Sophie with the nursery room.
Meg has fallen asleep in the sofa. Julia returns and Blake speaks to her. Meg and Blake want to have a party tomorrow with a few of their friends. She was about to say no to it but changed her mind for Meg and Blake’s sake. She says she wished she had his strength. They hug each other (emotional music plays).
