Bill is crushed when Luke threatens him. Greg and Fiona fear their affair has been discovered.
Extended Summary
Damian returns home and moans to Pippa and Michael about how ungrateful Laura is and he’s training alone, from now on. Michael and Luke are still trying to keep Fin and Bill apart but it’s proving to be a very difficult task. Luke’s got Bill on a tight reign and won’t let him out of his sight. Fin stands up to Michael and tells him he can’t stop her from seeing Bill and intends to take him down to the Diner for a milk shake. When she takes clean towels over to their van, Luke tells Bill to go and have a shower and the poor boy is totally confused. Fin tries to reason with Luke but they end up having a blazing row.
Damian goes for a run, stopping off at the store to apologise to Alf again for Laura’s outburst. After he leaves, Roxy voices her surprise at Alf giving up so easily, considering the sale of organic vegetables was such a hit with his customers. Greg and Fiona continue to enjoy their picnic out in the bush and talk about the difficulties of meeting but agree to continue. A little later on as they are kissing, Damian passes by on his run and Greg’s convinced he saw them together. He’s so paranoid about it, he drives her back home and she tells him to stop worrying but he goes in search of Damian. He dashes over to the caravan site but Michael tells him he hasn’t returned. He leaves a message to get in touch with him as soon as possible and leaves.
Alf pays Laura a visit and tries to talk her into going into business with him but she’s not interested and tells him to leave. As he leaves, he tells her not to be too hard on Damian because he was only trying to help her. He’s a caring kid and it gives her something to think about.
Roxy calls over to see Luke and Bill and inadvertently upsets Luke by telling Bill to go to the Diner for a milk shake. Bill doesn’t wait around and outside he meets up with Fin and she agrees to go with him, as Michael looks on. Back inside the van, Luke and Roxy are having a heated discussion on how Bill should be treated. She thinks he should treat him more like an adult than a kid but he disagrees. At the Diner, Fin tries to talk to Bill about his problems with Luke but he gets upset and runs out. She can’t go after him because Bobby wants her to cover for her whilst she nips down to the store for some milk. At the store, Fiona is treating herself to some flowers when Bobby comes in and they end up talking about the Slave Auction for the Youth Refuse. Bobby suggests she should come and tells her Greg’s entered, although he doesn’t know about it and jokes about pitying the person who gets him, because he’s hard going around the house. Alf quips that it’s Greg’s body they’d be after but this embarrasses Fiona and she makes a quick exist. Laura arrives, laden with vegetables and agrees to go into business with Alf, using Damian as the go-between.
Back at the Diner, Greg’s waiting for Bobby and Damian, who both arrive together and she telling him about Laura’s decision to sell her veggies and he’s really happy about it. Greg chats to him and finds out he didn’t see anything and he’s very relieved. Damian then goes over to see Laura and they resolve their differences and he agrees to do the deliveries for her. But she warns him never to step out of line again, otherwise their deal is off.
Fin finds Bill down by the beach and they talk. She tells him if he can convince Luke he’s an adult, he would probably ease up on him and suggests he apologises to him for acting like a kid. They go home but she leaves him to face Luke on his own. He goes inside and apologises to Luke and he’s impressed and they are reconciled but not for long. When Bill talks about how Fin put her arm around him, Luke jumps to the wrong conclusion.
It ends with Luke telling Bill he’s got to go and stay with an Aunt, leaving Bill devastated.
