Daria’s mother makes a pass at Sean. Fisher helps Travis solve his financial dilemma. The kids are in for a shock when they meet Mrs. Riley.
Extended Summary
Irene tries to help Joey get over Tiegan and gets him to play a game of pool with Sam, Tom and Will. Irene walks over to Alf who is cleaning grafitti off the surf club walls. He complains that it isn’t even art. Sam, Tom and Will discuss what their punishment is likely to be regarding them letting off the fireworks. Irene overhears this conversation.
Sean returns home from work. Tanya is folding clothes and Sean comments that Daria usually does that. Sean wants to know how long Tanya is going to be staying and why exactly she is here. Tanya responds that she will be here as long as she has to and she’s here to make sure that she did the right thing by Daria. Sean comments that that didn’t matter when Tanya walked out on Daria 11 years ago. Tanya says she thinks it was for the best.
Rebecca makes a lot of banging in the kitchen, looking for a pan, whilst Justine tries to study. Justine complains and then walks through into the kitchen and finds the pan for Rebecca. Justine tells Rebecca that her and Travis need to sort their problems out because it is becoming impossible to live at the house at the moment. Travis walks in and him and Rebecca make up.
Joey wins the pool game and Irene cheers, and probably embarrasses him, at the same time. Joel walks in and says hi to the boys. Irene takes him aside to talk to him about the boys punishment. Irene says that she should be the one punishing Will, but Joel talks her around, saying that punishing all will be the best way at getting the message through and Irene relents.
Tanya, Sean and Daria sit at the dinner table where Tanya talks about her and Sean’s time in the self-sufficient group.
Vinnie tells Justine how he has spent the day selling coffins to grannies at the old folks home. Justine finds this sick, but Vinnie says he will take her out for money at a quality restuarant with the money he has earnt.
Joel tells Sam, Tom and Will what they’re punishment is going to be. Apparently they are going to be doing some oddjobs for Mr and Mrs Riley.
Tanya braids Daria’s hair before she heads off to bed. Tanya then tells Sean that she wants to be friends with him again.
The next morning, Daria walks over to Sam and says that she hopes that they can continue to be friends until she leaves. Tom and Will walk out the surf and complain about their upcoming chores.
Justine tells Rebecca that she is going out to the shops. Travis walks in and Rebecca asks where he has been. He gives her some milk and croissants and then brings out his paper which he is using to look for a new job. Travis and Rebecca then argue about why Travis won’t accept Don’s offer.
Sam, Tom and Will leave the surf club to do the gardening for the Riley’s. Daria tells Sally that she is not the reason she is leaving, it’s the fact that Sean doesn’t trust her anymore. Sally tries to tell Daria that Sean does trust her.
Sally walks down to the beach. She sees Tanya and Sean get really close and runs away.
Rebecca does some exercises on the floor. Don walks in and says that he has come to apologise to Travis. Rebecca says she wishes there was some other way than Travis selling the boat.
Will clears out a log. Tom tells Sam to pick up, but Sam says he can’t because of his injured hand. Tom comments that it didn’t stop Sam this morning when they were surfing. Daria walks over and asks what she can do help. Will spots Mrs Riley and says they don’t need to worry about it. He speaks to Mrs Riley in some posh English accent. She produces a list telling them what to do.
Vinnie is in the kitchen taking a beer out the fridge. Sally walks in and he asks her if she wants a beer. To his surprise she says yes and she tells him about how she saw Tanya and Sean on the beach.
Don puts forward his proposal of buying the boat to keep Travis in his job. Travis reluctantly agrees to the deal, on a short term basis, to see how it pans out.
Sean and Tanya kiss.
