Vinnie confronts a delicate medical condition. The police question Justine about the Collins baby. Terri catches Tom perving at the nudist beach. Alf and Duncan build a minor bridge in their relationship.

Sally tries to persuade Vinnie to have the doctor check him out; Vinnie finally relents and undergoes an examination. James agrees that there is a lump. He reassures Vinnie that there could be many reasons for it and tells him to book himself in for an ultrasound test. James’s calm manner is enough to convince Vinnie that he has nothing to worry about.
Tom and Terri have their first meeting since their relationship finished. Terri indicates that she is happy with the break-up and then Tom says that everything is as it should be. After a gorgeous woman asks for directions to the nudist beach, Tom’s mate Lucas convinces Tom to check out the beach. Tom reluctantly agrees. The boy’s bicycle to the nudist beach where they discover it deserted. Lucas makes a half-hearted effort to ‘go nude’, but keeps a towel around his waist. The boys finally spot the gorgeous woman – and her naked grandmother! The boys are very disappointed. When they go to leave, Lucas cannot find the key to his bike lock. Tom and Lucas search through the bushes for the key until Terri – in uniform – spots them. Tom tries to explain that they weren’t perving on the nudist beach. Terri stops him and declares that this is the sort of thing boys Tom’s age do. She suggests that they should pretend that she just wasn’t there. Tom stands on his dignity and doesn’t try to explain any further. Terri says they should just forget about everything.
At home, Justine walks in on Joel, Travis and Rebecca discussing whether she should consult a lawyer over the Collins baby incident. Late that night, Travis finds Justine in tears. Travis says that he and everyone else believes that she didn’t abuse the Collins baby and that they will all stick by her. Justine, who is preparing for her HSC, finds it impossible to study. Rebecca asks Travis if they could be wrong about Justine. Rebecca probes Justine trying to find out what ‘really happened’. Justine is hurt that Rebecca would suspect her, even enough to ask such questions. Joel arrives on official business and asks Justine to come with him to the station for questioning.
Alf becomes flustered because he thinks Duncan is abusing the contract and tells Ailsa that the contract is a load of rubbish. Ailsa persuades Alf to give the contract a try, referring to how far their personal relationship has come in the last few months. Ailsa then speaks to Duncan and tries to convince him to live by the spirit of their agreement – not just the letter. Later, Duncan finds Alf stripping one of his fishing reels. Duncan asks him why he never asks him to go fishing – just the two of them. They agree to go fishing and a minor bridge is built in their relationship.
