Justine is distressed when a news report mentions the Collins baby case, and she and Tom prepare to leave Summer Bay behind. Justine and Tom leave first thing next morning on the bike. During a pit stop in the countryside, Tom asks Justine where he’ll leave her. Justine asks why he isn’t going to remain with her.
