Vinnie decides to get a ‘falsey’ to help his self-esteem. Justine tells Rebecca that she doesn’t want to see her again. Tom disobeys his parents and keeps his motorbike.
Extended Summary
Vinnie is daydreaming about stripping in front of a room full of women in the Dinner but when he is totally stripped the women start laughing at him! Later, James rings to tell Vinnie that his test results will be ready tomorrow. Vinnie makes a romantic dinner for Sal and tells her, in his own unique way, that he loves her.
Alf still believes that Jesse and Natalie are having an affair and so he tackles Jesse about it saying that the relationship is disgraceful! Jesse of course believes that Alf means his relationship with Gypsy and so he tells Alf that Joel has given the relationship his blessing. Alf cannot believe his ears when he hears this! He is totally shocked! In the Diner, Ailsa tries tackling the subject with Natalie and tries to unearth some information about Jesse and Natalie. Alf and Ailsa discuss Jesse and Natalie at home. Later Alf goes to the Caravan Park and talks to Joel about the affair between a member of Joel’s family and Jesse. Joel of course thinks Alf means Gypsy and Jesse and says he knows about it, that initially it was a shock but he has had time to come to terms with it. Alf goes home and says to Ailsa that Summer Bay is becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Tom goes to Jesse’s to tell him that he has found a buyer for the bike – a guy from the local garage. However Tom is just making it up! Tom pretends to Joel that he will think about Joel’s offer to help financially towards buying a new car. Tom has no intentions of having a car he wants to keep his motorbike.
Rebecca tells Justine that she and Travis think it unwise for Justine to attend Ruby Collins funeral as people may think this means that Justine is guilty. Justine explains that she wishes to pay her respects and that she cared for the child. Privately Travis and Rebecca discuss Justine’s reasons for attending the funeral and Rebecca mentions the evidence indicates that Justine hurt Ruby. Justine overhears Rebecca talking and runs out of the door utterly hurt and dejected! Rebecca catches up with Justine on the beach and tries to explain to Justine that she doesn’t really think that Justine could or would have hurt Ruby. Justine is too hurt and doesn’t accept Rebecca’s apology or explanation. She tells Rebecca that she need have “no worries” about the bail money and that when the case is over she is leaving Summer Bay as quickly as possible.
When Duncan comes back from the Christian youth group Alf tells Duncan it reminds him of his days at Sunday school, when Duncan asks him some of the bible study questions he has to do for next week Alf can not answer a single question.
