Gypsy and Jesse’s relationship is on the skids. Travis and Rebecca make plans to leave Summer Bay. Diana discovers James and Chloe have split.
Extended Summary
Joel and Natalie arrive back and discover Jesse in just his boxer shorts, Gypsy explains about the spilt food the Nashes seem relaxed about it and tease Gypsy slightly. Gypsy thanks her dad for being understanding she mentions to him she is short of money and he suggests that she consider finding employment. She is not pleased but when she mentions it to Jesse he suggests she look after Rachel for him for money when he goes out. Gypsy is angry with him to say the least but Jesse has no idea why.
Travis and Rebecca discuss their plans for the future and discover they don’t have enough savings. When reading the paper they find a position advertised. A tall ship needs teachers and crew to live and work aboard the tall ship sailing around the world. They decide to find out more information and arrange to meet the man who placed the advert in the diner and are offered jobs. When they tell Justine they are going and when she is upset as that is the day she will be in court. She is upset and thinks that they don’t care about her. Travis and Rebecca say how sorry they are and that they are going to up the chance to work on the tall ship. Joel later talks to Justine and tells her that Rebecca and Travis has given up a lot to look after when Pippa went away with Ian. He tells her that they are giving up a chance of a lifetime for her and that they only briefly forgot about the trial.
Chloe is thoroughly fed up of being on the receiving end of advice about her and James and gives Marilyn short shrift. Diana arrives back in the Bay and sees that Chloe’s belongings are no longer in the flat.
