Extended Summary

Colleen leaves the house and hides the key under the garden gnome. She feels she is being watched on but spots no-one around. After disappearing, the derro finds the key and makes his way in the house.

Mitch and Will ask Judith for the use of the school gym for the school dance. She agrees as long as they clean up afterwards and the auditions are their responsibility.

Rhys asks Dani to look after the drop-in centre. Instead, she complains that her mother is getting involved in social work and she is left to pick up the pieces. She is also angry that the twins are not helping enough.

At the drop-in centre, Dani is mortified when Will overhears her singing.

Colleen complains to Rhys about the house break-in. Rhys says the same thing happened in one of the vans as Dani forgot to lock them last night. Colleen spots someone looking for the key under the gnome; she hits him. Colleen makes a shocking discovery about the identity of the derro – it’s her ex-husband, Les.

Dani is asked to fetch the doctor from van 3; Les was hit on the head with a rake. Colleen is not happy that he was not hurt enough and gives out to him because he ran off with another woman a long time ago.

Luke Harvey, who was a best man at Sally’s wedding arrives in the Bay with a few far from pleasant welcomes. Sally accuses him of being a message-carrier for Kieran and tells him that she is not interested. Just then, Vinnie and Leah arrive and Vinnie is ready to fight him. Instead, he is defeated when Luke grabs him and pushes him to the ground! Leah is annoyed with Vinnie as she does not like the idea of fights to solve problems.

Will is complaining about Dani; he cannot stand her. Mitch believes that he actually likes her and points out that Sandy had him wound up so tight!

At the Diner, Colleen is talking about the doctor, Luke. She admires him and thinks that he likes Sally. Leah tells him of Sally’s problems. Luke drops to see Sally, saying that he wants to help her and that he cares about her. Believing that he may be the same as Kieran, she orders him to get out.

Leah has finished work; she is exhausted from cooking. Sally is very angry with her for telling Luke about her. Leah gets annoyed with Sally for being rude, making everyone miserable, and for making it impossible for them to live without going crazy and also for hogging the bathroom. She tells her she is going to have a shower now before she takes the bathroom again for the next three days!
