Sixth appearance, last seen in #2922. Served Alf and Sally while they went over her lesson plan.
Extended Summary
Irene brings a fax through to Judith which is an application to teach at a school in Switzerland. Judith says she would like to be closer to Edward and Peta but she probably won’t fill in the application form. Judith receives a postcard from Edward and Peta, she tells Don and he suggests that they both go and visit them at Christmas time, and she agrees, then he asks her out for dinner tonight, which she also agrees to. At the dinner she tells Don that she might not be able to go to Europe on holiday with him because she might be working over there already, as she is going to apply for the job in Switzerland.
Sally shows Alf some slides from Egypt but he isn’t very interested, he suggests making it more interesting for the kids…somehow. Sally’s idea of making the lesson more fun is to make the students mummify rats. Don hears of the idea and isn’t too happy about it but let’s Sally proceed anyway.
Hayley spends the day studying again, she can’t handle it anymore though and goes to her bedroom crying. Noah is at the beach and sees Hayley walk by crying, he asks her what’s wrong, and she just says she can’t believe what she’s just done and needed to get out of the house. Later on, Irene goes home and goes upstairs to check on Hayley and finds her gone but a big angry painting on her bedroom wall. Irene goes to find Hayley and pleads her to take the help Judith has offered.
Kirsty is mad at Brodie because it’s her fault that Shelley is upset due to her hiding her brother JT and him pushing Shelley about, which brought back bad memories of when that happened last time and she lost the baby.
