Fisher went to Sam when he heard about the marijuana. Sam asked him if he was going to give him a lecture and Fisher said, “No, I want to help you”. Fisher spoke to his lawyer who said that he should escape with only a fine. Fisher said he would pay for it and then Sam can pay him back when he wins his first surf competition. Sam said that it wasn’t likely because he hasn’t qualified for a comp since he left the Bay last time and that he life was a mess!
Fisher congratulated Sally on her teaching position and Sally was surprised. Fisher explained that he pushed her so hard to see if she really wanted to be a teacher. He told her that the school system isn’t what it used to be like and it had broken him. He told her that she would be a fine teacher.
Shelley spoke to Sandy about what she wanted to do once she left the hospital. Sandy told her that she wouldn’t contact her parents or her grandparents or the father of the baby. She told Shelley that she might have some help from someone. Shelley told her that she had better not be thinking of Will Smith. Sandy denied it. Sandy told her that she was going to live on a single parent’s pension but Shelley is not sure that she understands the enormity of having a child.
Harry and Gypsy worked things out. Harry went to help Shauna with painting the new Diner but then Shauna decided that it was not good for them to be alone together so he left!
Judith and Fisher asked Noah to come back to school. They said that they would put a plea in for him to the Education Department to return to school.
