Extended Summary
Vinnie shocked everyone by cancelling the wedding! Stella confronted Leah and told her it was a mistake for her to marry Vinnie simply because he’s not ready for the responsibility. Leah said she knew what he was like and was willing to risk it. Theo bought a half share of the Diner as a ‘dowry’ and told him it’s so he’ll know Leah’s future is secure. He also told him he can’t wait forever for Vinnie to get his act together. It was this that prompted Vinnie to call it off.
Mitch has asked Vinnie to move in with him and Gypsy. Brett is really being picked on by the students. As part of the Dice Man game that Jade, Kirsty, Nick and Duncan have been playing. Duncan called Brett a fascist. Brett threw him out of the class and thought he should be suspended for such a remark. Sally came along and told Brett about Ailsa, so Brett let him off.
Harry and June left. Shauna walked to the wharf at the very last minute to say goodbye, but missed him as his seaplane flew away. Harry and Shauna were able to reconcile, however Harry still wasn’t able to make up with Gypsy.
Harry went to speak to Gypsy before he left, but he caught her at a bad time. Gypsy told him the experience had taught her to never trust guys because they end up dumping you in the end. She also said she won’t ever forgive him. Could it be that Colleen’s right and Gypsy has a crush on Rhys? But she does want to quit the drop in centre, because she feels uncomfortable working with Shelley. So if it isn’t Rhys she’s got a crush on, who is it…?
