Vinnie has a crisis of confidence. Jade suspects Brodie has feelings for Alex. Noah rescues Toni from the irate farmer Leo. Nick wants to spend time with Kirsty alone, but she’s giving him the brush-off.

Extended Summary
Brodie came home from hospital and is worried about her new ‘hairdo’. Due to the operation, a patch of hair has been shaved off, leaving a small scar. Alex gave her a hat to wear, but she’s still embarrassed about it. She feels more self-conscious because she likes Alex but Alex likes Dani. She’s hoping Dani’s love for Will means Brodie will have a chance with Alex.
Nick is tired of being with Jade and Duncan all the time. He told Duncan he wants to spend more time with Kirsty instead of continually hanging around as a group. He’s decided to tell Kirsty it’s single dates only, or else!
Geoff’s been employed at the Diner and Shelley’s not happy he’s staying. She reckons he’s wasting his time trying to fix the yacht. Geoff’s making a huge effort to make amends with her, but she doesn’t want a bar of it. Shelley has been putting more time into Toni’s case, to get her mind off her dad.
Shelley saw Leo (the farmer) and said he was quite vicious. He ordered her off the property. She’s gone to DOCS to find out a bit more. For the time being, Toni’s crashing at the Lawson house, unknown to Jude but is still unwilling to tell the truth.
Vinnie’s having a hard time. He’s sick of Alex living with them, and he’s upset about not getting the job of head lifeguard. Vinnie told Leah this means he’ll be a better husband and father. Leah’s concerned by the whole thing, especially after telling Vinnie she gave the job at the Diner to Geoff. This really upset Vinnie as he feels nobody has confidence in him.
