Tom and Sally’s relationship takes an unexpected turn. Kane continues to vie for Dani’s affections. Colleen adopts a ‘work-to-rule’ regime at the diner, much to Alf’s frustration.
Extended Summary
Dani’s going to get into trouble, especially with Kane hanging around all the time. Fisher and Sally caught them in the common room. While Fisher probably couldn’t see into it, Sally knew Kane was putting the moves on Dani and she wasn’t too fazed.
Because Sally caught Dani and Kane together again, she told Dani she’d better be careful because Kane’s bad news. She also told her Will wouldn’t be happy if he found out. Brodie’s also mentioned Kane comes around a lot and Dani continually flirts with him.
Sally is concerned she might be falling for Tom. Gypsy told Tom she appreciates his friendship. She also said she is pretty much the only one keeping her sane. Tom then apologised for being so harsh to her yesterday. So she gave him a book for his travels around Australia. He kissed her (as friends do), and before you know it, well, it became something more.
The Diner’s going down the gurgler, with Alf and Colleen at each other’s throats. Colleen can’t stand Alf’s bullying and left the place with an inexperienced staff member while she went to tell Alf she’d finished for the day. Things might improve when Leah returns. She really knows how to keep the place together.
Brodie and Alex are getting serious. Shelley was saying Brodie’s been hinting for Rhys to give her the speech he gave Dani. Then Brodie will feel like she’s part of the family.
