Extended Summary
Duncan is practically doing everything to make everyone in the Bay hate him. After his weekend away with Morag he has become even worse, but Alf has said that he doesn’t want him to go and live with her.
Duncan started disrupting one of Sally’s classes at school. Sally tried to tolerate it for as long as possible until the other kids started mucking up. The problem is that no-one knows why he is being so childish.
Sally is very concerned about Seb, especially because he doesn’t answer any questions in class. Could it be he doesn’t understand what she is saying? Does he have problems reading? Is he dyslexic? Shelley has said he’s in denial over Anna’s condition and refuses to go to a counsellor. She’s worried about his future, along with everyone else.
Brodie and Alex are at loggerheads over the retirement village scandal. She told him about the photos she took of the site. He was furious and said she’d put his job in jeopardy. Shelley added that there was nothing to prove the work was dodgy. Brodie is determined to make it known, but nobody’s interested. Alex is relieved. Brodie isn’t. She wonders how Alex sleeps at night knowing he’s working on something that’s not fit to live in.
Gypsy realised Jodie’s an attention seeker. She received a phone call from Jodie, who was in a state of ‘panic’. Gypsy and Noah rushed to the house, despite the fact that Shelley told them to leave it alone. Jodie’s mum refused them entry, but they found Jodie in the shed. Gypsy believed she was doing the right thing until Jodie asked if this would bring her dad home. It was then Gypsy realised she’d been taken for a ride. Goodness knows if she’ll have a job to go to tomorrow, she’s not really in Shelley’s good books at the moment.
